Brief
Established in 1972, Club 21 is Asia’s leading purveyor of luxury fashion. The brand experience in market development, brand guardianship, wholesale distribution, sourcing, and vertical retail extends over 250 brands across nearly 400 stores across Asia. Fashion designers have often referenced art and artists through the years, and for Spring-Summer 2019, key looks from hi-end runways and key items from leading fashion houses in Europe, America, and Asia designers tapped into everything from floral, geometric shapes and stripes.
Solution
To develop the multi-label key visual, research is done to a wide variety of runway references to establish an understanding of Spring-Summer 2019 influences, ideas, and goals, so as to identify key visual attributes that are important to Club21, such as craft, connection, balance, strength, outspokenness, and perseverance. The carefully constructed key visual in collage style and the use of bright neon, geometric shapes, and bold, repetitive patterns echo the elements found in the runways.
